The M&A Advisor has named Smith Hulsey & Busey among the winners of its International M&A Awards for its role in the acquisition of a Florida-based insurance provider for international and cultural exchange students.
The awards program recognizes leading cross-border transactions, restructurings, products and services, firms and professionals.
The firm’s M&A team, led by practice chair Stephen D. Moore, Jr., played a key role in this successful transaction, which earned the Financials Deal of the Year award. Smith Hulsey & Busey provided guidance to the seller, Envisage International Corp., in Neptune Beach, through its sale to NSM Insurance Group, a global specialty insurance provider. Navagant LLC served as Envisage’s investment banker in the transaction.
The 15th annual International M&A Awards event will take place on September 24th in New York City.
The transaction also received Global M&A Network’s Financial Deal of the Year award at its sixth annual USA Middle Market M&A Atlas Awards.
